Warning: Contains Once Upon A Time In Mexico Spoilers [02 Oct 2003|07:10am] Met up with Xuan Yi earlier on at Jurong Point to catch Once Upon A Time In Mexico. I finally wanted to check out the Toy Box there but the shop wasn't there. -_-" That space became something else. Either it's really gone or maybe it relocated somewhere else in Jurong Point. Will check that out the next time I'm there. We had dinner at Mos Burger and were almost late for the show. The audience was pretty dead, but Xuan Yi and I especially, were laughing throughout. Initially I pretty much wasn't looking forward to the part where Johnny Depp's eyes were being dug out. And even more after watching the surgery part. But God damn he was hot! I nearly died or something. XD That image with the sunglasses and dripping blood somehow reminded me of The Crow. Amounted with that black outfit, he looked great, if not, even better. This guy is fantastic; how can anyone look so fine with empty sockets! =S And Johnny once again got all the good lines and was amusing as usual. It's the way he expresses them I guess. Stuff like his reply to the kid selling Chicklets, threatening to take off a guy's eye patch and skull-fuck him, the cab conversation and so on. Hell, he was still funny even after having his eyes drilled out! =P This is the last of the trilogy, but I just read rumours of a spin off based on him. Shall look forward to that. =D Overall the show wasn't fantastic, but I enjoyed it. =) Antonio Banderas was pretty cool too. And gotta love all the guitars. I should be getting the VCD or DVD to watch it again, better understand the story and for ahem, obvious reasons. ;) Am kinda tempted to watch it in the cinemas again, but we'll see. For now I'll just stare at my Sands wallpaper. =P Had some other stuff to post actually. Maybe I'll post them later. 3 Bloodlet?
